The universe is torn between those who have embraced technology in human augmentation and those who fight against its application, against the alarming implications it brings for the future of mankind. Many of the skills above have emerged thanks to the careful dedication of science and dedication on the part of skilled practitioners, masters of new arts. These areas of focus, thanks to technological advances, have since seen a cheapening, or broadening as the supporters claim, that has allowed for more widespread utility of such skill sets. Thanks to augmentation technologies rigid disciplines of mind and body have spread to those once barred from the experience. Feelings are mixed in almost every community on this purist versus augmentation mentality. "Are not the best things in life worked for through struggle", the argument of the purists states. Opposite is the theory that "all people should be free to explore the possibilities of life, same as any other person, despite any physical or mental difference."
