The Black Star Group is a private military contracting firm, largest and most successful out of dozens in the universe that cater to an ever-growing crowd of businesses and individuals who enjoy the power attached to a private military force.

As stated above Black Star is a private military contractor with approximately 20% market share in the private securities sector. Founded by Adrian Selleck the company operates through the use of private contractors, otherwise held on retainer, who are called out to service when contracts arise.

Staff

These individuals are often ex-military, ex-bounty hunters, former private smugglers. More often than not these are not the cream of the crop - but those who entered into such services out of personal gains and ambition, something Black Star rewards. The company plays towards the adage by Selleck that, "A few knights are better than a thousand pawns."

In such contractors are encouraged to get the job done by any means possible, excusing any costs, usually to outside parties, that come with getting the job done.
