This ratio for races tells how many males-to-females exist, as best can be estimated by statisticians. The ratio is based on a baseline of 100. Meaning that at 100 there are equal males to females of any given race.To further expand:

- A 104 ratio would mean 4% more males than females.
- A 101 ratio would mean 1% more males than females.
- A 95 ratio would mean 5% more females than males.
- A 93 ratio would mean 7% more females than males.
