Sol System
Sol is the principle star of the Sol System, home to Earth, the birthplace of humanity. As the single largest system, Sol is without a doubt still the hub of human activity. Even the most remote human outposts are actively connected to Sol, their residents traveling at times back to visit the cradle of civilization.
- Sol Dyson Cloud : A network of solar satellites orbiting the home star, the Sol Dyson Cloud supplies much of the system's energy needs.
- Tachyon Grid Network : A network of tachyon based communication satellites the Tachyon Grid Network enables faster then light communication between the various locations within Sol (and between Sol and the other colonized star systems).

Planets
While in a remote location, Mercury still houses several surface operations. These include various pole situated mining corporations as well as several mobile mining bases. The planet also serves as the primary headquarters of the Hermes Corporation, from which it maintains the local Dyson Cloud network.
Venus was largely uninhabited until Heritage7 genetic breakthroughs produced a race, now known as
Vesuvian, which could survive within the harsh environment. Before that, colonization efforts were largely restricted to orbital stations. Since then however, the world has become home to upper atmospheric platforms.
Few areas of Earth remain undeveloped, and portions of the surface where the largest cities exist formed several "plates" or layers of development during the Carcinomatosis. Earth has entered a new period as humanity looks to its home in hopes of fixing the damage they have caused.
- Luna : The first extraterrestrial colony, Luna has since become a primary base of operations for the various ships of the ISA. Home to several colonies and expanding underground facilities it has remained a primary stopover for a large portion of inner system traffic.
- Griton 1 : Nicknamed Big Bertha, Griton 1 is a massive and ancient station located at Earth's L4 Lagrange Point. Over the years it has seen many roles as its needs and uses shifted. Over the years it has become a colony of its own and a stopover point between the inner and outer planets (enabling vessels to bypass the hassle of earth bound traffic). Recently, however, it has fallen into a state of semi-disrepair due to reallocation of ISA funds and its out of the way nature.
- Griton 2 : The second lagrange station, Griton 2 sits within Earth's L5 Lagrange Point. It is younger than Big Bertha though its massive size and similar location have led it into a similar state of underfunding and disrepair.
The terraforming of Mars has, despite its relatively low gravity, turned it into a planet of lush vegetation and wildlife.
Taking up a wide gap between Mars and Jupiter lies a scattered band of asteroids and raw planetary material. It is quite sparsely populated, however, only encompassing 4% of Luna's mass worth of material.
While it hosts no colonies itself, this massive gas giant has played a major role in the gas harvesting industry via floating gas platforms. Meanwhile its myriad moons play host to the colonies and bases of the
Jovian League. This has led to a mass influx of traffic throughout the region.
- Ganymede : The largest of the Jovian moons, Ganymede is home to the Crystal Palace and the Jovian royal family. It has long since become the site of a sprawling metropolis, one noted for its lavish appearance.
- Callisto : Callisto has become a key destination for tourists and a mecca for quality entertainment of just about any type.
- Io : Due to its volcanic activity Io has remained limited in terms of colonization. Other then the various ore processing facilities it maintains a vast floating prison known as Io Prime.
- Europa : Europa is effectively the droid-manufacturing capital of the universe. The bulk of all Synteks in service or liberated today were first created in Europan factories.
Much like its Jovian cousin, Saturn maintains multiple floating gas harvesting plants. Unique to the gas giant though are the various orbiting platforms found in and around its rings. These small stations have found various uses throughout the years. Now days most of them serve as headquarters for the companies harvesting gas from Saturn proper. However, some still have been maintained as prospectors and research labs devoted to the examination of the great rings.
- Titan : A prominent colony, Titan specializes in food and drug production through manipulated plants designed to handle its exotic atmosphere.
- Rhea : The first part of the Saturn system to be colonized, Rhea maintains a curious mishmash of industries beneath its surface. Alongside most of the moons of Saturn it hosts a healthy ice mining industry. However, pockets of frozen gases and useful metals have been found beneath its surface, helping fuel its recently opened manufacturing operations. Outside of these industrial concerns the moon also hosts a major research base and multiple settlements.
Uranus
This tilted world sits near the fringes of the Sol System proper. Unlike the other gas giants it maintains little more than a few floating harvester plants devoted to methane mining.
- Titania : Nestled within the Belmont Chasma, the colony of Elesfaire is the largest settlement in Sol outside of Ganymede and the other worlds farther in.
The last planet of the Sol system, Neptune is surprisingly active. Its numerous fuel and energy processing stations, situated high in its tempestuous atmosphere, have made it a popular stopover for ships heading into the far reaches of the Sol System.
- Triton : First colonized illegally by several overzealous mining concerns, Triton has grown into a booming mining colony. As the only permanent settlement between Pluto and those worlds farther sunward it enjoys a steady flow of vessels as they pass through the independent sectors.
Encompassing a vast distance between Neptune and the Oort Cloud featuring
Pluto, this disc-shaped band of small planetoids and comet material abounds with resources for mankind's ever-growing desires.
Home to a few colonies and legitimate operations, the Oort Cloud yet remains the least known region of Sol Space. It's remoteness and untapped resources have turned it into a haven for fugitives near and far. Many unscrupulous organizations maintain bases in the outer cloud.
