Experience Points

Like many roleplaying games, you will have the opportunity to acquire experience points (XP) for your character and use that XP to acquire and level Skills. You can do this simply by roleplaying on our forums by visiting the Community link on the menu bar above.

Because Starborn is a play-by-post RPG, you roleplay by posting your character's story - often times interacting with other players. Your character will earn money, on Starborn this is credits, and XP for every roleplay you post.

Special Note

Your roleplay posts will not immediately earn your character credits and XP. There is a 7-day delay before your character earns anything for a roleplay. This week-long span is in place to allow the staff to delete any spam or abuse a player might post in the roleplaying forums.
