Earth's Low-Lands

Originally a side effect of the Plate City Movement on Earth during the Neo-Cancer Crisis of the 23rd century, the Low-Lands referred to the area trapped beneath the elaborate plates of the cities. Inhabited by primarily the poor, conditions were perpetually bad with excessive pollution, dilapidated housing, and consistently higher crime rates.
