Terraforming
Since the successful transformation of Mars, terraforming has become almost commonplace in spite of some catastrophic, costly failures in history. Though the process can be vastly different for each world, the goal of terraforming is always the same: changing a planet or moon to be more like Earth and its ideal conditions for life to exist and flourish.Mars was the first world to undergo a major terraforming effort.
