Chantilas System

Originally designated as Zeta Persei, the system became known as the Chantilas System after the name of the company responsible for organizing the joint venture that led to colonization of the system. It would give rise to later systems adopting the names of their chief sponsors as ways of repaying the investing corporation in nearly unlimited advertising.

Planetary Colonies & their Satellites

Natural Colonies by Diameter

Aquelas

Aquelas was the first planet in the Chantilas system to be terraformed using the experimental IG-47 terraform engine. Once nothing but mountains and dust, the engine caused catastrophic floods and changed the planet into a world of nothing but water. The race inhabiting the planet, the AriX, chose to stay there, and built a series of massive cities on and under the water.

  • Capella: Aquelas only moon; also home to the greatest ship-wrights and strongest metals in colonized space.

Habbakuk

A giant crystalline ice-world, Home world of the Desh, Habbakuk is one of the more stark, yet beautiful worlds in human colonized space. No person should miss at least one day spent on its deathly cold surface.
  • Priot: Priot is the pebble that sits outside the frozen ice, somehow unscathed. The small moon lacks any atmosphere, and few cared enough to change that. Interestingly the pebble flourishes like Earth’s own moon, full of those who don’t quite enjoy the icy realm that sits only several thousand miles below.

Jherro

Dwarf Planets & Asteroids

Sigel

A discarded rock with a surprisingly dense atmosphere made of an odd cocktail of gases. Of little use to anyone the rock has recently become a hotbed for scientific communities that have sprung up along its surface.
