Summary

Jack Solbourne is cocky, rude and full of dry wit, but at heart he is a good guy. He is often seen on the wrong side of the law, but he avoids killing as much as possible. However, he isn't above shooting an assassin in the back if it meant saving his own skin.

He is intelligent, extremely cunning, and a risk-taker. He enjoys gambling, starship racing, women, enhancing his ship, and making money. He hates losing money, losing races, obsessive women, any negative comments about his ship, and surprises when he's not the one doing the surprising.

While he is intelligent, it hides behind a layer of street talking and street smarts, only to surface when the need arises. He is comfortable letting people think as little as possible of him. The less they know, the more he's underestimated. Underestimating Jack Solbourne's guile, luck, or quick draw is unwise.
