Summary

Adam Smith (nicknamed "The Merchant") is a businessman/smuggler from Earth. He is known for his recklessness and almost absolute pursuit of profits. Aside from being willing to take almost any job as long as it pays well enough, Smith is also known for his view that his unrelenting pursuit of profit is in the best interests of those who know him. Smith, like any stock protagonist, can occasionally transcend his character flaws, but this usually does not last.
